The Sweet Tooth Fairy

This adorable little bakery opened shop today in Provo. My best friend ordered from her frequently and raved about her cookies. So when I heard she was opening a bakery, I wanted to go check them out myself. The verdict....YUMMY!!! I love those thick, soft, substance cookies. Bailey especially liked the Chocolate Chip but then she quickly grabbed at the Peanut Butter, and then the Sugar ...oh wait she loved them all. She was shoveling cookies in faster than she could swallow, literally. That's my girl. Anyways, we bought several things to try out and they were all very good. It was so neat to see the owner and the big smile on her face as her dream was coming true. It really is such a cute set up. Anyways, if you are in the area stop in, you will not be disappointed and you must try the double chocolate cake bites. To die for!!! It is located in the East Bay shopping center, next to the Roberts. Happy tummies!!!

B is for.......

BAILEY. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this sassy little thing. She has been quite cranky lately from teething but now that she FINALLY broke those 5 teeth, I have my little girl back. She is so much fun! An original, that is for sure. She brings a smile to our faces. We love you so much Miss Bailey Boo!!!

Crafting Fun...

Caleb asked to make some Valentine's for daddy and surprise him, so that's what we did. Caleb had so much fun and couldn't wait for daddy to come home and see them. We hung them in the window with Valentine's ribbon.

So my day has ended like this......Bailey decided to once again take off her diaper but this time it did not end well, let's just say that she went straight to the bath and got scrubbed to death. Time to bring out the duck tape....lol. Shortly after giving Bailey a bath and doing some dishes I look down at my hand and my diamond is gone, yep gone. The band and setting sit without my diamond. Seriously??!!! So good thing I saved some money today. Freak!! I think mommy needs a bubble bath tonight. Hurry up 8 o'clock :)

History Made

What a historic day for the country! I really enjoyed watching the inaugural speech and seeing so so many Americans come together to see our new President of the United States sworn in. I think this is also the first inauguration I've actually had interest in watching, I just want to say that I have hope for the new president. I may not see eye to eye in all his views but I'm giving him my respect up front and we'll take it from there.

I could not help but get chills a few times as I sat and watched the crowds from all over the world watching this event on TV. Tommy could hardly get to his classes at UVU do to the mass crowds gathered around the TVs in the hallways. I thought President Obama gave an incredible speech! I was impressed. He is walking into a very shaky and unsure country right now, he does not have an easy job ahead of him. God Bless.

On a side note it was also my little brother's birthday today. Happy Birthday bud!!!

Walking With Dinosaurs

Caleb absolutely LOVES dinosaurs!! He loves reading books about dinosaurs, playing with dinosaurs, acting like a dinosaurs....did I mention he LOVES dinosaurs. We saw a commercial for Walking with Dinosaurs several months ago and I looked online to get more information. Tickets were a little pricey so we debated for, well only for a few minutes. It looked so neat and Tommy and I were just as excited to go. We knew Caleb would love it and how many times do you get to see dinosaurs in the flesh. I quickly called Grandma and Grandpa to make sure they could watch Bailey and bought our tickets. I did this back in early November but waited to tell Caleb we were going until the week before. Man was that a LONG week. To hold him over I let him watch the making of the dinosaurs and clips of the show online. He would have sat in front of the computer 24/7 if I let him. Well the day finally arrived on Friday night and Caleb was SO SO excited. Daddy surprised Caleb by coming home with a brand new dinosaur shirt, that Caleb LOVED!!! Thanks Daddy. We then headed up to Salt Lake and stopped at a Wendy's first to have dinner with our little guy, he was anxious to get to the show and wondered why the dinosaurs weren't at Wendy's. As we waited for the show to start they had sounds and music playing and every once in a while you could hear a roar. Caleb would quickly yell to everyone around us that the dinosaurs were waking up. It was an awesome show and very educational! I learned a few new things myself. Caleb was so fascinated!! He couldn't take his eyes of the dinosaurs and he would let us know the names of every dinosaur before the narrator could tell us. Tommy was amazed because he didn't even know on some of them..lol. What can I say my little guy knows his dinos. It was a fun fun night out with our little man! I am so glad we went. He couldn't wait to get home and show Grandma and Grandpa his spinning dinosaur light and tell them all about the dinosaurs.

Hours of Fun

With it being so cold out, we needed so extra fun indoors. Caleb loves playing with "Grandmas" play dough so we whipped up a new batch together. This was the first time we made it ourselves and Caleb loved it. He thought it was so cool to make his own play dough and even better to pick what color he wanted. It is nice and warm right after it is done and as my mom would say, there is nothing better then warm play dough. Caleb played with this all day long. It brought back lots of memories of making this with my own mom and playing with my siblings. I now, get to watch my kids do the same.

Baby Got Back...

She is too young to kill me, so I am going to post this picture. We check on the kids every night before we head off to bed and this is how we found our sweet little girl. We never had this issue with Caleb, not once but our sweet innocent little girl is a different breed. She takes of her diaper any chance she gets, we have been lucky so far to not experience the take off of a poppy diaper but knowing Bailey...all in time. This girl cracks me up. I have my hands full with her. We couldn't stop laughing and couldn't resist taking a picture. I think I need more feeted jammies.
