Bailey's 2nd Birthday

Our little princess is growing up too fast! She turned 2 on the 17th. She is such a fun little girl. So full of energy and constantly making us laugh. She LOVES her brother and loves following him around and playing with him. She is a girly girly but knows how to get dirty and play rough. I have loved seeing her little personality develop! Man can she have an attitude at times, but she can also melt your heart. And she has her daddy wrapped around her finger. :) She has been such a joy and blessing to our little family. We love you so much Princess!!!



We started her day off with opening presents and having breakfast before daddy had to go to work and school. She was so excited to get a new baby, a pink doctors kit, Ariel bath toy, and some new BYU or as she says, "YU Cougars" outfits. She wanted some chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns for breakfast. Most of the day was spent playing outside and playing Dr with brother and mommy. When daddy got home we had princess cake (which she was SO excited about) and ice cream. I just can't believe my "baby" is now 2. We had a party for her on Friday night. (See post below).

Food - Bailey will eat pretty much anything you give her. She is such a good little eater but some of her favorites are Bananas, Gogurts, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Spaghetti , Mac and Cheese, Cucumbers, Green Peppers, Summer Sausage, Avocados, Broccoli, Popcorn, anything Chocolate and she LOVES Chicken, the real deal too.


Movies- Transformers (thanks to brother), Toy Story, Little Mermaid, BYU highlight videos, and the new Barbie Three Musketeer's.


Shows- Sid the Science Kid, Super Why, Dinosaur Train, Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins, Special Agent Oso.


Activities - Bailey is very active. She LOVES being outside. She loves to hunt for bugs and dig in the dirt, loves to go to daddy's softball games, loves to read and color. One of her favorite things is to have her fingernails and toes painted. Enjoys playing cars and dinosaurs with brother. Wrestling with brother and daddy. Loves to go play at the park and loved going swimming at grandmas over the summer. Loves to sing and dance. And anything involving dolls and princess'.

Princess Party

On Friday night, we had some family and friends over to celebrate Baileys Birthday. She was so excited for her princess party and I had so much fun planning this party for her. I wanted to make it extra special for her so I even made her a little tutu and shirt for her party. Bailey was so excited to wear and dance around in her tutu, a true princess. We had a dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs and chips and then we had a candy buffet for all to enjoy. She got a lot of great gifts, thanks to all. She has watched, played and worn it all already. She wasted no time :) We have such great family and friends and appreciate all who came over to help celebrate Baileys big day and make her feel extra special. We sure love you Bailey!!!

Caleb's First Day Of Preschool

Today was a big day for Caleb, his first day of preschool. He has been anxiously awaiting this time for a couple weeks now. He was so excited last night to put out his new clothes and get his "pacpac" ready after coming home from a special dinner out. He was so excited in fact that the second, and I mean second he woke up he put on his clothes and was ready to go. We got a special little card for him and I made him some green dinosaur pancakes (well I tried anyway). He didn't eat a whole lot. I think he was a little anxious but extremely excited at the same time. He got his new shoes on and his "Ankee pacpac", we took a few pictures and we were off. He was not very hesitant at all. Once he walked in, he paused for a brief second then went right over to hang up his bag then proceeded to sit down and start coloring. I gave him a hug and a kiss and I was off. It was so cute to look back and see him sitting there and realize how quickly he is growing up and how excited I am for him to continue to grow and learn. I know he is going to learn so much from Miss Morgan and have so much fun! I am looking forward to hearing all about his days at preschool on our trips home. Bailey wasn't so sure about leaving brother behind, and was SO excited when I told her it was time to go get brother. Caleb had a huge smile when I went to pick him up and told me he could not wait to go back. I heard about his first day; how they read a story about Jack trying to take a snake home for a pet, they played games, they got to play with dinosaurs and dress ups, they put their pictures on popsicle sticks and put them in their slots on the wall, he made new friends, played outside, made hand prints and got cupcakes (as described by Caleb in a nutshell). To celebrate we stopped at "Old McDonald's" aka McDonald's for Happy Meals. Caleb couldn't wait to call Grandma and Grandpa and tell them about his very fun day! Congrats Caleb and hears to a wonderful year of preschool. We love you!

Zoo Day

We decided to take the kids to the zoo on Saturday. Caleb had seen the new baby tigers on the news several time and had asked several times to go see them. I have been sick so none of us have been able to do too much lately. An attempted trip out the night before with friends failed, as I was still quite sick and thought I would be ok but was not. Caleb was very sad that we were not able to see our friends or get to eat out. I felt so bad. I drugged up Friday night and got some good rest so I was able to get up and attempt the zoo. Luckily I made it (paid for it the next day but it was worth it). It was such a good day. The weather was perfect. We got up their early enough so it was still a bit "cool" and the animals were all out and so active. We were able to see all 3 bears out playing, eating and wrestling with each other. We got to see the new baby snow leopard, the baby giraffe, and after hearing that the 3 baby tigers had been in "hiding " the last few days we were a little worried as to whether we would see them or not but we saw them all. The kids were so excited! Two of them were sleeping but you could still see them, while the third was up and active and kept trying to wake up mommy tiger and the 2 siblings. They were so cute. We even got to see one of them nurse from the mommy. The daddy tiger was also up and very active. Caleb and I were able to see the penguins being feed, the most action we have ever seen from those little guys. One of Caleb's favorite animals to see our the cougars. When we first walked up they were laying down up in their little cave but within seconds they both came out and were walking all over. It was such a needed day for all of us to just be out of the house and doing something. We even ran into several friends up there. We were all tuckered out by the time we got home but it was another great trip to the zoo!
