Little Things...

Just wanted to jot a few things down that the kids have said lately.



Grandma got stung by a bee on Friday. That night Caleb said prayers and part of his prayer was, "Please help grandma to feel better, please help the bees so they don't sting us, help the flies to die, we are grateful for dinosaur movies, Christmas time and Halloweentime....."



Bailey LOVES to say bye and does so VERY loudly. We had left grandma and grandpas and where almost home when she yelled out "Bye Papa, Bye Gama", Caleb turned to her and said, "Bailey they can't hear you anymore". To which she replied with an extend "OOOhhhhh".



Caleb has not forgotten about the bee sting. He told me today that he needed to catch a bee and put him in his bug catcher so he could talk to him and tell him not to sting us and even though he might get frustrated, you don't sting people.

My Birthday

I am trying to catch up on all my blogging. So sorry about all the posts. We had a wonderful Memorial Day, which happened to also be my 29th birthday. My last year in the twenties, guess I better make it a good one. I had such a fun day!!! Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. I am so lucky to have such great friends and family! Tommy was off so we all slept in a bit and then Tommy made me a yummy breakfast of Texas toast french toast with fresh raspberries. It was delicious! We relaxed and played some games and then headed over to my parents to have a BBQ. It was such a beautiful day! We hung out and played outside with the kids for several hours and then Tommy had arranged for my parents to have the kids while he took me out shopping for some new clothes, we got dessert and then went and saw Angels and Demons, which we both LOVED and would recommend. I could not have asked for a better birthday!! Thanks babe for everything!

Dressing Up

Caleb and Bailey were at Grandma and Grandpas and Caleb decided to dress up as Cinderalla, crown and all. Tommy threatened to stop letting my mom watch the kids, if this continued. :)After Bailey saw brother she decided to join in the fun. What can I say!?!? He does makes a cute princess.

Caleb learned all about his ears in primary on Sunday. This was too cute and he was SO SO excited to show us.

Dinosaur Museum

We FINALLY took Caleb to the Dinosaur Museum up at Thanksgiving Point. It has taken us far too long to make this trip, Caleb LOVES dinosaurs and we have wanted to take him for quite some time. We finally went last Saturday. Aunt Heather and Uncle Kyle came with us. We had so much fun! Caleb, of course was in heaven but Bailey had just as much fun. We will be returning.

Mother's Day

So I am a little behind in my posts, but I still wanted to write about Mother's Day. I feel so blessed to be able to be a mother, it is the best thing I have ever done. It is not always an easy job but it is the most rewarding. I loved my life before I had them, but I can't imagine my life with out them. Everyday with them, even the hard ones is totally worth it. I love my two little munchkins!! The day started off with Tommy making me breakfast and letting me sleep in. After church we relaxed a little before heading to my mom's for a barbecue along with my brother and sister and their families. Tommy made me the best marinated shish-kabobs. They were SO good! We had lots of yummy salads, corn, and cheesecake. It was such a nice day and we were able to eat outside and relax. It was such a fun and nice too be pampered a little extra!
