Dying Easter Eggs

Caleb had been waiting to dye Easter eggs for some time now so he was more than excited when it came time to dye our eggs. When we went to the store a week ago to pick out a kit, we ended up with two. Caleb wanted Transformers and Bailey wanted Princesses. What could I do?? I had to get both :) Friday morning Caleb helped me boil all the eggs and waited "patiently" until after dinner Friday night. The kids were so fun this year. Bailey understood and got into it more than we thought she would. It was so cute to watch her. She LOVED putting all her princess stickers on by herself. And Caleb did as well, he wanted to do everything on his own this year and was so excited about his transformer eggs. It was a fun night with the kids!! We got the kids down and then Tommy and I snuggled in and ate Frosty's and watched Marley and Me.

These were taken a couple weeks ago, I just haven't gotten around to posting yet. I just had to laugh when I went in to get Bailey up from her nap and this is what I found. Nice attempt, darn those pants. Love you Bailey!!!

One Love...One Heart..Let's Get Together and Feel Alright

Tommy had a softball tournament last weekend but due to the weather it got cancelled, which meant at the last minute we were able to attend his mission reunion up in Centerville on Friday night. I am so so glad that we were able to go. It was so much fun!!! I had meet President and Sister Moore before at our wedding but it was quick obviously. It was so nice to meet them again and talk to them a little bit more. It was also so fun to meet some of the guys that I seen pictures of and heard lots of stories about while Tommy served in Jamaica. These guys were so funny and it was so fun to see Tommy interacting with them all again. They shared some funny stories. Tommy was really excited to see a few of his companions that he had some really good relationships with. They showed a short video montage of the mission and some of the missionaries. Tommy was in a lot of it. It was so funny to see how young he was. Caleb thought it was really cool to see daddy as a missionary. There were LOTS of kids there and Caleb and Bailey had a blast running around with them all. Tommy had suggested having the Jerk Shack cater, in fact the guy that owns the Jerk Shack served in Jamaica with all of them. It was so freaking good!!! We had jerk chicken, curry chicken, rice and peas and patties. And man oh man was it good!!! We have eaten at the Jerk Shack several times before but he is know cooking the jerk chicken in a big roaster and man it was yummy! And the patties came in from Jamaica. I still am craving more. I would suggest checking out the Jerk Shack, if you have not before. It is located across from Target on Center Street in Orem on the grass area in front of Sprinkler World. It is just a little shack so it is kinda hard to see it but it is some good stuff! It was so funny to listen to all the guys talk about the food, it seemed to be a favorite part of their missions. :) I am so glad that we were able to go and attend his reunion. (Next reunion is in Jamaica). It was a great start to an amazing conference weekend. We spent the rest of the weekend listening to conference, playing with the kids, shopping, watching movies together, going out to eat with my mom and the kids while the guys went to dinner and priesthood session, and simply doing some relaxing.

Happy Birthday Mom!

My wonderful mother had a birthday last Friday on the 20th. My mom has Fridays off so my sister and I decided to take advantage of it and take her out to lunch up at the Cheesecake Factory. My sister-in-law Jamie was able to come along also. It was a little hectic with the kids but it was still an enjoyable time. We will try to forget about Bailey's all out tantrum on the way home (Sorry about that Mom and Steph...lol). Can I just tell you how much I LOVE Cheesecake Factory. Man it is good!!! It was really fun to be able to take my mom there for the first time. We were all stuffed but we all got cheesecakes to go. I got the Adams Peanut Butter Chocolate Ripple Cheesecake, yummy!! It was a beautiful day and was a lot of fun to be with my sisters and mom. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all you do, you are the best!!! Hope you had a wonderful day!!! Love ya!!!!

St. Patrick's Day

We started off our St. Patrick's day with GREEN four leaf clover pancakes and GREEN milk. Caleb thought it was so cool that they were all GREEN yet tasted the same :) Caleb had a conversation with papa the night before about St. Patrick's Day and papa mentioned that you needed to wear GREEN so you wouldn't get pinched. Well Caleb did not forget this, he usually stays in his jammies for quite a while but as soon as he woke up he told me that I needed to hurry and help him get into something GREEN so he wouldn't get pinched. We had to take Bailey for her 18 month check up after breakfast. She is doing well and was SO SO good for her shots! 21 lbs in the 6% and 31 1/2 inches long in the 47%. We spent the rest of the day playing. I did a little treasure hunt for the kids and we colored some St. Patrick's Day coloring pages. We then headed to my parents for the annual St. Patrick' s Dinner. I look forward to this every year. Yummy!! We have the traditional corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, cornbread along with some Apple Beer and lets not forget the traditional Mint Ice Cream Pie. The corn beef tasted extra good this year. Too bad we only have it once a year. Thanks Mom and Dad for having us all over. Hope you all had a HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!

Fun at the Park

We have been LOVING this weather!!! Every chance we get, we got to the park to play. The kids have been in heaven. Last year Bailey enjoyed the park by sitting on a blanket and watching, this year she is having a ball on the slides and swings. And as the picture shows below, getting down and dirty. I can't wait for the rest of Spring and Summer with these two little ones! I can tell we will be having many fun adventures out in the sun.

Weekend in Saint George

Tommy and I were able to head down to Saint George last weekend for one of his softball tournaments. We left the kids with my parents. THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM AND DAD! Caleb couldn't wait to spend the weekend with them, he kept asking "Mommy, when are you and daddy leaving?" Nice to know we were gonna be missed:) The weather was not as nice as we would have hoped for but it wasn't snowing and it was still decent. We got there early afternoon and had to go to In N Out right away to get some dinner. It was really weird seeing and being in an In N Out in Utah, but I can get used to it. Yummy!!!! After we quick ran over to Tai Pan Trading before heading to the fields. Tommy played two games on Friday night and it was freezing. The wind picked up out of nowhere and never stopped blowing so it felt colder than it really was. My best friend Lil and I were struggling to hear each other and we were right next to each other. It was so much fun though to be at a tournament where I could actually sit and watch the whole game. I love softball!!! After the games we sat in a much needed hot tub with our good friends Mike, Lil and Horace to relax and thaw out. We were able to sleep in Saturday before they started playing again. It was much nicer on Saturday. No wind and sunshine. They got two more games in before being out. We didn't play the best the last game but it didn't help that the umps were HORRIBLE and that is not an understatement. It was a down right joke. We then went back to the hotel for a while before heading out to dinner. We then went back to the fields with our friends and watched a few more games and the championship game. Another night of hot tubbing and then back home on Sunday. It was such a fun and relaxing trip. It was so nice for Tommy and I to get away and spend some time together and hang out. Thanks again mom and dad. The kids had a blast!
