We were able to attend the Draper Temple Open House today with my side of the family and my sister-in-law Heather's side of the family. We left Bailey with Tommy's sister. It was a beautiful day today and a really neat experience to walk through the temple with Caleb and "explain" what takes palace there. While we were getting ready this morning he kept asking me if mommy and daddy were getting married today at the temple. He was really excited to go and more excited that it was a "special" thing with just Mommy and Daddy. We started at a church where we watched a video about temples. We then got on a bus that took us up to the temple. Caleb was very excited tot see the angel Moroni. The temple was amazing! What an amazing experience, Caleb did really well and I think he was able to understand a little bit. After the open house they sent us to the stake house next to the temple for cookies and to look at more pictures of various temples. Caleb told us on the bus ride back down that he was very happy and glad that he got to go to the temple today with us. I am so grateful for the opportunity we had to go and especially grateful to have been able to take Caleb!

It was a memorable experience for everyone. I'm so glad we shared it with you as family.
That is so cool! I wish we could come for that. I talked to Gayleen tonight and she was going to go tonight after we got off the phone. So cool to have a new temple near by. Awesome that you could take Caleb and share that with him.
