Gingerbread House

We started the tradition last year of doing Gingerbread houses. Caleb was very excited to do another one this year. Bailey was not too into it this year, she started off with "helping", then decided to grab a few candies and go play with daddy. So Caleb and I tackled it together. I put the frosting on and let Caleb have at it. I think he did a great job and he had so much fun creating his little house.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Yesterday was Caleb's Preschool Program. He was so excited to have us (especially daddy) come to watch him sing. They preformed Jingles Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas and it was so cute!!! They made little bell bracelets and Caleb was so excited to show it to us. He has the BEST teacher!! She puts so much into this preschool and creating fun activities and learning experiences for these kids. She is AMAZING!!! Caleb could not stop talking about his Christmas party and all the fun things they did as a class. It made my day going and being able to see Caleb sing and to see his excitement. LIGHTS, LIGHTS, and REINDEER

For FHE we headed up to Thanksgiving Point drive through the lights and see the live reindeer. We invited my parents to come a long. I found out that my brother and his family were also planning on going up so we meet up with them as well. It is so magical to drive through the lights with little ones in the car. They had some live reindeer up at the water tower so we braved the cold to take a peek at Santa's reindeer. All the kids were SO excited. The reindeer were so cute and we all learned some new information about the little guys. Who knew that they had 6 stomachs and could smell food 3 feet under snow for food???? All in all another great night basking in the Christmas Spirit.

Festival of Trees

It was that time of year again, on Friday my mom and I headed up to the Festival of Trees. I love going and look forward to it ever year. The kids are getting old enough now to REALLY enjoy it. It made it much more "magical" this year. Caleb remembered the scones and cinnamon rolls from last year and was very exciting to indulge again this year. I must admit that I look forward to that as well:) If there was a princess, barbie or anything "girlie" Bailey made sure to point it out and Caleb was just excited about it all but he especially liked the Grinch and Jack Skellington Tree. I was also very impressed with the gingerbread houses this year, they had some incredible ones. We had so much fun and I am always amazed at the talent and creativity that goes into these trees. They were amazing!

Gobble, Gobble

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We spent it in Utah this year with my family. This was only the second time in 8 years of marriage that we have been here in Utah for Thanksgiving. It was nice to be home and have time to just relax. We had dinner at my parents house with all of my siblings. Man the food was yummy!! We had an awesome turkey, fantastic potatoes, divine homemade rolls, incredible sweet potatoes, veggies and I had a lot of fun making homemade cranberry sauce and sausage cornbread stuffing. Can you tell I enjoyed the food??? :) Caleb had so much fun playing with his cousin Devan and Bailey, Ian and Josie were too cute literally running around in circles. We had lots of time to talk, laugh, play games, eat desserts and just relax. I am so grateful for all of my family!! I love you all so much!!! And I am so grateful for my little family. I have been blessed with an amazing husband and two wonderful kids. I have LOVED all of our little family time this weekend so far and feel so blessed and lucky!!!!

It has been so nice to have Tommy home! We are being spoiled :) Since we were actually in Utah this year we decided to try out good ole Black Friday. Thanks to my parents for keeping the kids overnight. Tommy and I got up around 5 and headed out. We had so much fun!! We got the kids completely done and everything we got was on sale, saved over $300 dollars.We got some great deals. It really was not that bad either. The biggest "wait" was at Walmart and even then we were in and out in 45 minutes. Loved being with my man! We all got naps in and then spent the rest of the evening putting up the tree and the rest of our decorations.

Saturday was spent relaxing and gearing up for the game of the year, BYU vs UTAH. And what a game it was. We beat Utah in overtime...26-23. Way to go Cougars!!! I love beating the Utes and thank you Max Hall for speaking your mind on the after show :) I had to watch the game at home unfortunately, still recovering but Caleb had a BLAST with Tommy and the rest of my family! Got to run down and the field after with daddy. You should have heard him tell me all about it. We start em young. :) Go Cougars!!!!!!!

Disney On Ice

I was lucky enough to take Bailey to see Disney On Ice Princess Classics yesterday afternoon. She was so excited, and so was I. She wanted to wear her Sleeping Beauty track suit, her princess shoes and her tutu. She looked so cute and if you can't tell by the pictures, she was SO excited to be at the princess show. She was such a good girl too. The show was great!!! They went through brief stories of all the princesses and then focused on Cinderella's story the last half. Bailey waved and yelled to all the princesses and was SUPER excited to see Snow White. We had such a great afternoon/evening together and it gave time for Tommy and Caleb to have fun together as well. I love you Princess, thanks for a magical night!!!!
