July 5th

We all opted out of getting up early and camping out to get a spot on the parade route. Instead we got together over at my parents and had a big breakfast. We had pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, fruit, hash browns, etc. After breakfast we talked for a while and then the kids took turns riding the little four wheelers. Later in the afternoon we went swimming and had BBQ. Dad made a delicious smoked brisket. We enjoyed lots of yummy food and the kids enjoyed snow cones from grandma and grandpas new snow cone maker and had lots of fun in the bounce house.
