BYU/UNLV Game

We planned a trip to California and it "just so happened" that the same weekend BYU was playing in Vegas. So we decided to stop in St. George and Vegas for a few days before heading to Southern California. Convenient, right??!! Part of my family went down on Thursday and stayed in Heather's family condo. We headed down Friday evening and spent the night with all of them before we all headed into Vegas Saturday. We had a "gourmet" breakfast by my parents Saturday morning, complete with Captain Crunch french toast. Then my brother Kyle, his wife Heather, Ethan, my mom, nephew Josh, nieces Ally and Josie, and ourselves headed to the pool to swim. The pool was a really cool setup and we had a lot of fun, despite the stupid alarm going off half the time. We then headed back to the condo and chilled for a bit. We decided to head out earlier than everyone else and hit the M&M Factory on the strip with the kids. It was madness but the kids thought it was cool and Tommy and I wanted our mint M&M's :) We hit our hotel in Vegas for a short time before heading off to grab some dinner and head to the game. It was such perfect weather down there. We had AWESOME seats for the game. Thanks honey. We were on the second row in the corner end zone, right where BYU came in and out of the field. The kids were in heaven!!! Caleb could not believe that he got to see BYU playing in their white (away game) uniforms and that we were so close to the players. And added bonus was that Cosmo was right in front of us 90% of the game and Bailey got lots of love from him. Because we were last minute compared to the rest of my family in deciding to go to the game we were not able to sit with them but our good friends Dixie and Greg Wood got tickets with us. Thanks for coming down and sitting with us guys, we love you!! BYU killed UNLV!!! Go Cougars!! We got back to the hotel and hit the sack. Heading out to California the next day! It was sooo much fun squeezing in the game and enjoying sometime in St. George and Vegas.
