The Living Planet Aquarium

We took the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium last Saturday. They LOVED it!!! They had so much fun learning about all the animals and touching the sting rays, listening to the eels, seeing the sharks. Trust me Caleb spent 20 minutes that night on the phone with grandma and grandpa telling them about EVERYTHING he saw and did. It was our first trip up their and turned into a great afternoon out with the kids.

Saying Goodbye

Caleb and Bailey LOVED having Jeff, Nate and Emmie here to play with. They are having a hard time with them being gone. They were here for 9 days and left Saturday morning. We were able to spent lots of time with them swimming, playing and many other activites as posted below. We went over Friday afternoon to say our goodbyes, which were hard. Bailey and Emmie played with the kitchen set while Caleb, Nate and Jeff played the Wii. We then headed outside to let them do popits, snakes, smoke bombs and sparklers. Craig was out running errands and brought back some Jambas for us all. The kids have so much fun together, it is sad that they do not get to see each other more often, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with them. We created some fun new memories! We love you guys and miss you!!!

Four-wheeling

On Wednesday the 8th, Tommy took some time off work and we went up with all my family to Solider Summit to our property to do some four-wheeling. It was a little windy up there but it was not too bad. We had 4 four-wheelers so the adults were able to take several kids out at a time. Caleb was in heaven. He LOVED going out with Tommy and riding. He also loved that his Uncle Colby and Uncle Craig were riding next to him. We did some walking around and the kids played once again in the dirt, easy entertainment. It has been so fun having my sister Tammy and her family in town to do all of this fun stuff together. We can't wait to get the cabin built and spend many more hours up there together.

Bridal Veil Falls/Canyon Glen

On Monday, July 6th we headed up to Bridal Veil Falls with Tammy,Craig, Jamie, Steph, my mom and all 11 of the cousins for a hike and to play in the water. I have to admit this was my first time hiking up to the falls. The kids had a blast being together and playing in the water, mud and rocks. We headed up around 10 so it was not too hot yet. We then headed over to Canyon Glen for a picnic lunch ad more time for the kids to run around and play. It was a great morning and afternoon spent with family. Caleb and Bailey had so much fun with their cousins. Bailey was a bit cranky due to nap time but overall it was a success.

Balloons, Swimming, Arts Fest

I LOVE, LOVE the 4th of July!!!! I LOVE the atmosphere, the colors, the barbeque's, the festivities, celebrating freedom, LOVE it all!! (Hence all the posts and pictures to follow). My sister and her family flew in the day before from Texas, we were so excited to have them here for the 4th this year. Caleb was BEYOND excited to see his cousins Jeff and Nate. We started things off with heading to the balloons at 6am on Friday morning. It was a beautiful morning. My sister Stephanie and her family, my parents and Kyle and Heather joined all of us. I love going to the balloons. The kids had so much fun! We used to go growing up and I loved it. It is such a fun tradition. We walked around and watched them all inflate and take off, then Ky and Tommy headed to McDonald's to grab breakfast for everyone. We chilled and listened to the music for a while and all the little boys wrestled with the "older" boys. After we headed home to let Bailey nap, Caleb went home with Grandma and Grandpa so he could play with his cousins. They went swimming. After Bailey woke up we headed to my parents and all had lunch before heading out to the Arts Fest. Later that evening we headed to my niece Jaycie's baptism.
